Not Sure About Visiting?

We would be happy to answer some questions you may have.

What's LOVE got to do with it?...EVERYTHING!

Last week at Xtreme Conference, one night we were inspired by Matt Pitt from "The Basement".  After hearing his testimony it certainly confirmed his motto...What's Love got to do with it? - Everything!

We've been home only 3 days and I can't even count how many times I have said in my mind "What's love got to do with it?"  Almost everything that happens in our steps each day, LOVE has to do with it...or if love was present would make a difference.

When I think of the negative actions that result in poor attitude, bad mood and low self-esteem...I wish love had been shared instead of our selfish ways.  In the event of acts of kindness and service, it confirms what a difference it makes in our walk...step by step...and the person we've expressed love.  We all want to be accepted and loved.  We all want someone to relate to our crazy ways.  We all want to know that no matter what we do, someone will be there to love unconditionally.   We have our "best" friends.  We have our family that has to love us (that blood thing).  It sure makes a difference when someone unexpected notices our jokes, a talent, or our new haircut.  You know it's true...think of a time when that happened...made you smile, didn't it?

Our "human ness" sure does lead us to fail each other, doesn't it?  Many times, not on purpose.  It's just that we aren't in the habit or routine of thinking of others.  We learned during Mission Week, our verse being 1John 3:18-19, that when we are practicing these ways of love - that's how we know we are in the truth!  Back to the whole blood thing and love and acceptance.   Well, that's what Jesus is all about!  He shed His blood (for ALL of us) so that we could forever be loved and accepted by our Heavenly Father...WOW!  Jesus makes up for our times of letting things fall through the cracks...He is always there.

What's LOVE got to do with it?  EVERYTHING!  Thank you Jesus for showing and giving us that unconditional love.  May we all live each day to be Jesus to someone.

No Regrets!

June
